Everyone loves to go to a theme park in Malaysia and even if you don’t want to go on the rides, as a parent, there is no better feeling than watching your kids having fun. Hopefully you have already decided to visit a theme park, but you need to remember that taking the kids there can be a little challenging, if you are not properly prepared. However, with the correct planning, you are guaranteed a great days fun and a great bonding exercise for the whole family. Here are some tips to make sure that you have fun.
- Look For The Discounts – If you can, buy your tickets online, as quite a few Malaysian theme parks offer discounts if you book before you go. There are also some great deals to be had and all it takes is a little searching online. Remember to put it on your Facebook account that you are going there, and maybe some friends have discount coupons or passes that they aren’t going to use, and they will hopefully give them to you.
- Create A Schedule – You need to be properly organised, so that the day goes smoothly. Create a schedule using the theme parks times for certain rides and shows and discuss with your family members what rides they really want to go on. This means that there won’t be any rushing around trying to get on a ride or see a show and you won’t overlook the things the kids really want to do. You may also want to print off the map of the theme park because if you time it right, you will do less walking but visit more rides.
- Bring The Essentials – You will find some of the best theme parks for kids in Malaysia, but you need to be prepared. If you have really young kids, take the stroller with you, so they can take a nap or relax. Theme parks do rent these out, but take your own and save money. Remember to pack sunblock, hats for the kids, changes of clothes for the young ones and of course, something to take pictures with. A backpack is always a great idea, as it allows your hands to be free to take care of the kids.
- Prepare Early – Don’t start getting ready for the day out at the theme park on the morning you have booked. Do it the night before when the kids are in bed and you have time to do it. If you have a business card, then give one to each of the kids and if they get lost, they can ask the park attendants for assistance. If you don’t have a business card, then simply write your details down on a piece of paper. Also set up a meeting point using the theme park map, so if everyone splits up, then they know to go there to meet you.
Theme parks in Malaysia are great fun and they have everything there that you could possibly need, and then some. To insure that you and your family experience a day to remember, follow the above advice and you can’t go wrong. Have fun!
